WATCH THE AVATAR MOVIE!
In the new and much awaited Avatar movie by James Cameron, Sam Worthington plays the story’s protagonist, Jake Sully a Marine that was seriously wounded in combat on Earth and is paralyzed from the waist down. Being selected to participate in the Avatar program which will allow him to walk again, Jake finds himself having to travel to a jungle covered extraterrestrial moon known as Pandora. It’s a place filled with incredible life forms that are beautiful and also terrifying, and it is also home to the sentient humanoid race, the Na’vi. Standing almost ten feet tall, the Na’vi have tails and sparkling blue skin. They are considered to be primitive living in harmony with their unspoiled world but as humans look for valuable minerals and go deeper into the forest of Pandora, the Na’vi unleash their fearsome warrior abilities in order to defend what they feel is their threatened existence.
Not realizing it, Jake has been recruited to become part of the encroachment of the Pandora forest. With humans not being able to breathe the air, they have created genetically-bred human-Na’vi hybrids known as Avatars and it is through this body that Jake can walk again. He is sent deep into the jungles of Pandora as a scout for the soldiers that will soon follow. It as he is scouting that Jake encounters the many beauties and dangers of Pandora and eventually meets Neytiri ( Zoe Saldana ), a young Na’vi female.
Over time, Jake begins falling in love with Neytiri and integrating himself into the Na’vi clan. It’s then he finds himself caught between two worlds, the military industrial forces of Earth and the Na’vi civilization of Pandora that will force him into choosing sides that will decide the fate of an entire world in an epic battle.
